‘The Charger’ is a functional sculpture by Zuzana Riha created in 2026. This ‘charging station’ bighorn ram does more than make a statement, he can charge your devices too. Hidden beneath his coat of recycled electronic cables are 8 different USB ports, ready for whichever charging cord you need. He also loves playing your favourite music through his headphones. Mini LED lights woven throughout his coat can be twisted on and off, adding a special sparkle to this piece.
Zuzana Riha is known for transforming found and discarded materials into unexpected works of art, often creating a delightful “aha” moment when the purpose of each material is revealed. In The Charger, a tangle of old electronic cables becomes the ram’s rugged coat, turning something destined for the trash into something both whimsical and useful. Her distinctive sculptural work can also be found throughout the rest stop at the summit of Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park.
