Rachel Sloan is the artist and woodworker behind Tsuga Design, a Canmore-based creative studio inspired by the landscapes of the Canadian Rockies. Specializing in fine wood craftsmanship and intricate marquetry, Rachel uses the natural colours and textures of different wood species to create detailed artworks that celebrate the beauty of the mountains. Her work often features iconic peaks and landscapes, including the Three Sisters and Mount Assiniboine, capturing a sense of place through the warmth, character and artistry of wood.
