Big Eddy Glass Works | Revelstoke, B.C.
Founded by glass artist Leah Allison, Big Eddy Glass Works brings the timeless art of glassblowing to Revelstoke, British Columbia. Leah began her career at Bavin Glassworks in Invermere, where she spent 15 years refining her craft and developing her signature style. After falling in love with Revelstoke and making it her home, she opened Big Eddy Glass Works in 2018. Inspired by the mountains, rivers, and vibrant spirit of Revelstoke, Leah’s handcrafted glass art captures the beauty and character of the region in every piece.
Hygge Glass | Revelstoke, B.C. & Australia
Hygge Glass is where lighting, glass, and technique come to life. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted by Ebony Sloots.
The name “Hygge Glass” is inspired by the Danish concept of hygge, a term that embodies a sense of cozy contentment and well-being found in the simple pleasures of life. Hygge is that warm feeling you get when you turn on your favorite lamp or curl up with a hot cup of tea—an ethos that Ebony embraces in every piece she creates.
Tyler Kathol | Revelstoke, B.C.
Tyler Kathol creates intricate lamp worked (also known as flame worked) glass art using a torch-fired technique that transforms solid glass into a fluid, glowing medium. Working at temperatures approaching 950°C, he carefully shapes and manipulates molten glass with specialized tools, including tweezers, knives, and handcrafted graphite molds.
Tyler specializes in what he calls ‘Plant Buddies’ – small glass mushrooms that can brighten the pot of your favourite house plant.
