‘Moonlight Desires’ is a piece by Hayley Stewart created in 2026.

‘This painting was inspired by an epic day out in March of 2024 at Kicking Horse Resort in Golden, B.C. Kicking Horse was the first resort that truly stole my heart. It’s where I learned to ride powder, fell in love with mountain culture, and realized there was a whole lot more adventure waiting for me than I ever imagined.

The terrain featured here (Middle Ridge) was a permanent closure when I first lived in Golden. Back then, ‘Ozone’ was the zone everyone dreamed about, and getting the chance to finally explore this terrain years later felt like one of those full-circle moments. Love this mountain. The terrain.
