“Lay Lizard” is a piece by Melanie MacVoy created in 2022.

“Lazy Lizard meanders it’s way above the road which parallels Lizard Creek then up through the old growth to Island Lake Lodge. It is a great trail for kids and those wanting a less strenuous but longer bike ride with a beer at the end of it on the Bear Lodge deck. 

This alla prima painting was executed wet on wet with thicker paint than I normally use but I like the fresh look of it. That’s what happens when you’re prepping for shows and you get an evening to yourself uninterrupted in the studio with some really great music to keep things rolling!” – Melanie MacVoy
