She has always felt an irresistible draw to the mountains, which evoke a sense of smallness, wonder, and aliveness. Whether hiking, skiing, biking, or paddling into the backcountry, Emily immerses herself in nature to paint her experiences. Through her artwork, she documents the peaks, plants, and animals she encounters, sharing her deep respect and love for these wild places. She believes she will never tire of this process or stop learning from her time spent in the outdoors.

Emily’s work features vibrant colour, texture, white space, and intricate line work, aiming to capture the sense of freedom, adventure, and energy she feels in the mountains.
