In 2020, she picked up a brush for the first time in her life as a therapeutic outlet, and she has not stopped painting since. An engineer by profession, Curtis has channeled her problem-solving skills into her creative practice through a process she describes as cognitive “rewiring.” Her neural pathways, once dedicated to analyzing data, have transformed into a dynamic process of mixing hues and weaving intricate brushstrokes, allowing her to express her creativity in ways she never anticipated.
